Good news for all the candidates that Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution for the following posts under the Government of Assam with pay scales as given below and usual allowances admissible under the Assam Government rules. Candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to B of the Indian Constitution and must be a permanent resident of Assam and must have proficiency in Assamese/local language. As proof of his/her residence, the candidate has to upload a copy of a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be considered as proof of residence.

AEGCL AAO Bharti 2024 Education Qualification

• i. Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in B.Com or its equivalent or 55% marks in Honours/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Bachelor of Arts or Science with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject or 55% marks in Honours in Mathematics/Statistics (BA/BSc) or its equivalent.
• ii. Minimum qualifying marks in Bachelor’s degree for Departmental candidates and those belonging to SC/ST is 50%.
• iii. Must possess proficiency in Computer Applications and Diploma Certificate in Computer Applications with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
