Defense Minister of India Rajnath Singh has launched Aditi scheme to promote research development and innovation efforts. In a press conference held on Monday, he told that Asing development of innovative technology will be launched in the field of defense technology. The scheme was launched during the DefConnect program between Chief of Defence, Staff General Anil Chauhan and other key members and explained the importance of the scheme.
Aditi Scheme 2024: What is this
Under this scheme, one can get grant-in-aid of up to Rs 25 crore for defense technology, research, development and innovation efforts. Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh launched this scheme while addressing a gathering of industrialists and policy makers and said that India will get help in moving forward in the technology sector under this scheme.

The major objective of the scheme is to develop 30 deep-tech critical strategic technologies in the stipulated time frame, which is envisioned to create a technology watch tool among the modern armed forces, requirement and defense innovation ecosystem.
